Emirates Business Lounge and DET Group are the same company. The company was originally called DET Group but changed its name to Emirates Business Lounge to avoid confusion with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET / dubaidet.gov.ae), a UAE government department with a similar name.

If you've seen us referred to as DET Group in some places and Emirates Business Lounge in others, here's the simple explanation. They are the same company.
We started out under the name DET Group. The problem was that the Dubai government's Department of Economy and Tourism also goes by the initials DET. Clients kept confusing the two, thinking we were the government department. So, to make things clear, we rebranded to Emirates Business Lounge.
Nothing else changed. Same team, same consultants, same services, same experience helping entrepreneurs set up in Dubai. Only the name on the door is different.
